Greetings

Founder of Callaway’s Couture

I was born in Arkansas, where elegance was not something purchased — it was practiced.

My earliest memories of refinement did not come from magazines or runways, but from the gentle graces of my Great Aunt Albirda and the Callaway matriarchs who shaped my understanding of womanhood. They were women of God. Women of dignity. Women who carried themselves with quiet authority and gracious compassion.

They worked both inside and outside the home — cultivating gardens, sewing custom Easter dresses and holiday garments for children, preparing homemade meals, and setting tables that felt like sanctuaries. They believed in beauty as an offering.

I remember elbow-length gloves. Hats and scarves. Fresh roses gathered from the yard and placed carefully at the center of the table. Fine cups and saucers set with intention. Tea poured slowly. Conversations guided with kindness. Children taught to serve. Elders honored. Widows and orphans remembered — not just in scripture, but in practice.

The table was never just a table.
It was ministry.
It was dignity.
It was love expressed through detail.

My Story

Those matriarchs fulfilled the Word of God not loudly, but faithfully — looking after those in need, opening their homes, extending warmth that felt like grace itself.

Callaway’s Couture was born from that inheritance.

While my foundation was formed in those Arkansas kitchens and gardens, my journey continued into higher education and professional leadership. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Later, I traveled to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University, where I earned a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution.

My professional path led me to serve in several corporate environments and to launch my own consulting company as a Mediator and HR Consultant — helping individuals and organizations navigate complexity with clarity and composure.

For over three decades, I have also been a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated — a sisterhood rooted in service, scholarship, and excellence.

Yet no matter how far my professional life expanded, the heartbeat remained the same:

Create spaces of dignity.
Offer restoration.
Honor wisdom.
Set the table beautifully.

Callaway’s Couture is not simply about style.
It is about atmosphere.

It is about recreating the grace-filled communal table — where hearts settle, conversations bloom, and healing unfolds slowly… like a time-infused tea.

It is a continuation of the women who raised me.
A modern expression of their loveliness.
A sanctuary shaped by faith, refinement, and intentional hospitality.

This is not performance.
It is inheritance.

And I welcome you to the table.
